Volunteer Opportunities

Below are several ways you can Pay-it-Forward and together we can all make a difference for someone battling CF!

Gala Committee/Silent Auction

Assistance with coordination of Annual Take A Breather Gala – including thematic input, decorations, procuring of silent auction items, and event invitations!

Development Committee

Assistance with networking/establishing contacts of people to further engage with Take A Breather Foundation and its impactful mission.

Brand Ambassador

Helping to establish a social media presence for Take A Breather Foundation electronically (via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).

Breather Ambassador

Occasionally for our out of area breather presentations we need ambassadors to present our recipients with their wish. This usually take place in a hospital setting.

Narberth Run Volunteers

Event assistance – both leading up to, and on the day of, the Narberth Run event. Responsibilities include: social media sharing, supplementary fundraising for event, structural logistics on race day, streamlining the efficiency and management of the event (before and after).

Admin Crew

Writing “Thank You” notes in the Take A Breather office (when needed) to donors, wish families, event attendees, and other members of our audience base!

Support Staff (when needed)

Occasionally, Take A Breather Foundation will hold ad hoc “friend-raiser” events (such as: Pickleball Tournament, cocktail hours, local bowling events, Witches of Narberth presence) and might need additional staffing support. This is where YOU come in to save the day!

If interested in serving on any of the above committees, please contact us at [email protected] or 610-664-1826

CF is a disease that only gets harder with age.  It’s a gift for us to be able to offer our patients a glimmer of hope and enjoyment through your program.”                   — Marianne Buchanon, CF Social Worker, UNC
