The Spring and Summer for Take A Breather were marked by several successful fundraising events, as well as careful preparation for our upcoming gala (11/2/18). The Narberth Take A Breather Run saw close to a 1,000 participants running/walking for CF wishes. Joined by guest CF-ers – Mariah Caise (wish recipient) and vocalist Julia Rae who preformed a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, participants enjoyed a good time and the company of Eddie the Enzyme from Allergan Pharmaceuticals – our generous Presenting Sponsor of the event!
Thankfully, the weather held off for the fourth-annual Take A Breather 5K in Longport, NJ on Saturday, August 4. With blue skies, clear waters, and white sand – 200 runners and walkers came out to support our cause. Many thanks to the borough of Longport for allowing us to host this event, as well as our generous sponsors, donors, supporters, and volunteers!

Please make sure to mark on your calendars Friday, November 2 from 6:30 – 10:30 PM for Take A Breather’s second annual gala! This event will take place at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA. Celebrating the life (and 50th birthday) of CF Survivor and Executive Director Matthew McCloskey, all proceeds from this event will go towards granting 50 wishes for deserving children and adults with CF!
